Our Wild West Vacation
July 20
- Flew from Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Denver, Colorado with USAir.(Flight 4620 IPT to PIT; Flight 133 PIT to DEN)
- Rented our car in Denver with Alamo
- Drove to the US Air Force Academy north of Colorado Springs. Stopped off at the visitor center and saw the Chapel.
- Stayed overnight at EconoLodge Downtown in Colorado Springs (719-636-3385).
July 21
- Rode the Pikes Peak Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak. It was a three hour and ten minute trip to the top and back. We had seats reserved for the 9:30 train. (See the Pikes Peak cam.)
- Saw Garden of the Gods
- Had dinner at the Flying W Ranch.
- Stayed overnight at an EconoLodge in Colorado Springs (719) 636-3385.

- Drove up through Fairplay, Alma, Hoosier Pass, Breckenridge and Kremmling, Colorado. We shopped along the way.
- Stayed in the Lazy Acres campground in Riverton, Wyoming (307) 327-5968.

- Saw the sights in and around Dubois

- Sw the Norris Basin, Obsidian Cliffs, Mammoth, Petrified Tree, Artist Point, Fishing Bridge.
- Stayed at the Grant Village campground. (307)344-7901

- Drove back to Dubois, Wyoming and stayed with the Martins. (307) 455-2234

- Drive to southern Wyoming and stayed in Riverton again.
August 1
- Drove to Fort Collins and chilled at a Starbucks for a while.
- Went to the Denver Art Museum
- Stayed in Denver at Guest House Stapleton (303)388-6161
August 2
- Saw the sights in Denver including the Transportation musuem.
- Shopped at REI.
- Watched The Bourne Supremecy.
