Some Canadian provinces offer a CA$1000 tax rebate. I believe it is only BC and Ontario. Contact the finance ministers. In Ontario the rebate is called a Retail Sales Tax refund which is 8% the amount paid for a hybrid up to a limit of $1,000. The 8% is the same as the PST in Ontario.
Colorado offers a $2400 tax CREDIT.
