My modifications

I made a few modifications to the car including:

Addition of cruise control
Stereo Phase I
- Replace cassette/radio with a Sony CD player | installation guide
- Replace door speakers with Polk EX series II 6.5" component speakers | installation guide | Speaker install guide | Polk feature on the Insight
Stereo Phase II
Installed RAM mount for my Garmin eTrex Vista GPS
S2000 antenna element ($14.00 ordered from Dix Honda; you can also order it online at Majestic Honda)
Replace white dome light with red bulbs | information
Install Insight driver's side carpet protector from Sandusky Bay Metals (out of business)
Install Insight brake and clutch pedal covers from Sandusky Bay Metals
Install Check-A-Spare hose
Door guard
Floor mats and cargo mat
Neoprene seat covers. I bought these at Sam's Club and they are made by Winplus.

Future modifications include:

B-Quiet extreme sound deadening material for floorboards, doors, interior of trunk (or whatever it's called). | application | I got some samples sent to me from their web site and they are very impressive. It seems to be very well made stuff and comes in 1' wide segments. I ordered 50 ft² of the material and it should arrive around March 24
GPS power cable
Auterra OBD II scanner for my Handspring Visor Deluxe - mount with a RAM mount
Replace wheel skirt fasteners with corrosion resistant fasteners
Additional seat covers to make the seats softer and retard the amount of wear that has already occured to the driver's side seat. The Wet Okoke and Classic Soft Trim covers look the best but are expensive. Coverline seat covers are cheaper and custom fit as well. Wet Okole's web site doesn't say they make Insight covers but they do if you call them or inquire by e-mail.
